Hall planning

What you’ll achieve: one weekly grid that shows which team trains where and when; each team’s trainings for the season are created from it, and no court is ever booked twice.
Prerequisites: your teams exist for the season.
1. Your halls and their slots
Section titled “1. Your halls and their slots”Indoor clubs rarely own their hall — they get slots: Pavilion North, Monday 18:00–19:30, half the court. Enter that once.
- Open Courts and add each hall with its address.
- Add the courts inside it — a full court, or two halves if your slots are often half a court.
- Under Availability, enter the weekly slots you have in each hall: weekday, start and end time, and which courts.
2. Share the slots between teams
Section titled “2. Share the slots between teams”- Open Courts → Team planner. The grid shows your week: days across, time down, one column per court.
- Your available slots are the open cells. Your teams are listed beside the grid.
- Drag a team into a slot. Drag it again for its second and third training of the week.
- Each placed block shows the team, its coach and its category; move it or remove it until the week works.
- Click Create trainings. Volley World creates each team’s weekly training series for the season, with the court booked on every date.
Conflicts are caught early
Section titled “Conflicts are caught early”The planner warns you before anything clashes:
- the same court used by two teams at the same time;
- a team placed outside the hall’s available slots;
- a coach on two courts at once;
- a date where the court is already booked — a rental, a block or a match.
Bookings made later — a court rental, a tournament, a home league match — go through the same check, so your trainings stay protected for the season.
Your public weekly grid
Section titled “Your public weekly grid”Families ask “when does my daughter’s team train?” every September. The weekly grid can be shown on your club’s web app: one clear timetable per hall, team by team.
