Close the tournament

What you’ll achieve: final standings written and published, app points awarded, and any ranking fed.
Prerequisites: every match must be marked Finished — the close is blocked otherwise.
The close screen
Section titled “The close screen”The close screen has up to three tabs plus a Close Tournament button:
- Final Ranking — the final standings (and federation points, if the tournament is scored). You can adjust a team’s rank or base points here; edits save automatically.
- Ranking Points — appears only if the tournament is linked to a ranking; shows the club-ranking credits each team earns.
- App Points — a read-only preview of how each player’s Volley World level changes.
- Make sure all matches are Finished.
- Review the Final Ranking and adjust ranks if needed.
- Click Close Tournament and confirm. Final standings, app points and any ranking points are written, and results are published.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting””Unfinished matches”
One or more matches aren’t marked Finished. Finish or cancel them, then close.
”Final ranking not ready”
The final standings list is still empty. Make sure the bracket/results are complete so standings can be computed.
