Split registration

Role requiredTournament organizer

What you’ll achieve: split payments enabled on your event, and a clear view of two-player teams where only one half has paid.

Split payment is off by default — teams can only split the entry fee if you turn it on for that specific event. You do this in the event’s editing screen.

  1. Open the event’s editing screen (Upload event) — create the event, or edit an existing one.
  2. Scroll to Competition configurations and open Customize.
  3. Turn on Enable Split Payments.
  4. Publish (or save) the event.

Step 1 — in the event editor, open Competition configurations via Customize.
The Competition configurations screen with Enable Split Payments toggled on — teams can split the entry fee, and incomplete payments are refunded automatically at no cost to the club
Step 2 — switch on Enable Split Payments.

Once it’s on, players registering a two-player team get the option to split. Incomplete splits (where the partner never pays) are refunded automatically, at no cost to the club.

When a player registers a two-person team, they can split it: they pay their own half and invite their partner. The partner then completes their part and pays the other half later. Until they do, the team is flagged as a pending split.

The invited partner sees a countdown and completes their own side — the team name, the club they represent, and their own details — before tapping Submit Registration. Each player’s progress is shown, so it’s clear who has finished and who is still Payment Pending.

The partner's split registration screen: a Team Registration expires in countdown, both players with their completion percentage (one 0%, one 50% Payment Pending), the team name and club fields, and the Your Information form with a Submit Registration button
What the invited partner completes — their own half of a split registration.

On the event dashboard, expand Pending split registrations to see every team where one player started a split payment and the partner hasn’t finished. Each row shows who started it, how many of the two have paid, and any expiry.
