Reservations & no-shows

What you’ll achieve: control over the events you’ve signed up for, and an understanding of what happens if you cancel.

Cancel a reservation

1. Open the event. If you’re signed up, the button reads You are going with a change link; if you’re on the waitlist it shows Waitlist - Position.
2. Tap the button. A confirmation dialog appears — Confirm cancellation for a free or unpaid spot, or a You have already paid for the event! warning if you paid.
3. Confirm the cancellation. Your spot is released and the button returns to Participate.

The confirmation dialog offers a chat with the organizer before you cancel.

If you have questions, the dialog offers Contact organizer (via WhatsApp or chat) before you cancel.

No-shows

Please cancel in advance if you can’t make it — the app reminds you to avoid cancellations if possible. Not showing up (or cancelling very late) is recorded by the organizer, who manages no-shows on their side. Cancelling early frees your place for someone on the waitlist.

Note

If you paid for an event, cancelling doesn’t automatically refund you — contact the organizer about their refund policy.
