Level restrictions
What you’ll achieve: an event only the right level of player can join — keeping sessions well matched.
Administrator · Club ManagerStep one: build your club’s own level system in Settings → Levels. Phoenix uses A1 to D2 — the names, abbreviations and descriptions are entirely the club’s own.
Administrator · Club ManagerOpen the training from Schedule, click Edit, and under Advanced Options turn on Level Restriction → Club. Tick the levels it is meant for: B1 and B2.
Player · the appNora’s coach assigned her A2. She opens the B1 training and taps Participate — the app explains that only B1 and B2 may join.
Player · the appBack in the calendar, Nora picks Wednesday’s A2 training instead and taps Participate.
Player · the appThis time it goes through. Every session fills with players of the level it was planned for.
Prerequisites: a training or another non-tournament event (tournaments can’t be level-restricted). To restrict by club level, define your levels first.

Training by level? Add a level restriction to your training… and every player trains with their own level.
Watch the robot do it with a training from Club Deportivo Phoenix. In Schedule, open the training to edit it. Go through the tabs to Who can join. Turn on Level Restriction, choose Club, and set the range: B1 to B2. Save changes.
If a player of another level signs up, the app tells them their level doesn't fit… and they can only join the waitlist. And they don't move up on their own: they only play if the coach confirms them. Every level in its own training. That easy!
- In the event editor’s Advanced Options, turn on Level Restriction.
- Choose one of three modes:
- Open — no restriction.
- App level — set a range on the 0–10 Volley World level slider; only players inside it can join.
- Club — pick which of your club levels may participate.
- Finish and publish the event.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting””Your club has no levels yet. Create them in Settings → Levels.”
The Club mode needs your club to have levels defined. Set them up under Levels first.
The mode reset when I switched
The three modes are mutually exclusive — switching from one to another clears the previous mode’s selection. Set the range or levels again after switching.
