Single tickets

Role requiredStaff: Sales

What you’ll achieve: a single-ticket product members can buy for a one-off entry, attached to the events you want them to pay for.

Prerequisites: the Sales / Single Tickets permission and a working Stripe connection.

A single ticket is a one-off price — a drop-in training, a one-day camp, a guest entry. It is a product you create once and then attach to as many events as you like; the event itself has no price of its own, it borrows the ticket’s. Unlike a session pack, it grants exactly one entry, and unlike a subscription it is never billed again.

Selling with a ticket is a two-part job: create the ticket (once), then attach it to the event (every time you create or edit one).

  1. Open the Single Ticket Dashboard and tap Add New Ticket.
  2. Set the switch at the top right to In Store. A new ticket starts as Unlisted, and an unlisted ticket cannot be attached to an event — it doesn’t appear in the event’s product list at all.
  3. Fill in Product Name and Description. Both are shown to the buyer on the Stripe payment page, so name it the way a member would recognise it (“Drop-in training”, not “TICKET-2026-A”).
  4. Set the Unit Price and Currency. Enter the price in whole units, as you’d write it on a poster — 12.50, not 1250. Each ticket carries its own currency.
  5. (Optional) under Special Discount Conditions, tap Add discount condition to give a Discounted Price to holders of a specific licence or subscription. The dropdown only lists licences and subscriptions that already exist — create those first if it’s empty. If a buyer qualifies for several conditions, they are charged the lowest one.
  6. Tap Save. The ticket now appears under Active Single Tickets.

The ticket form. The availability switch sits in the top-right corner — it decides whether you can attach the ticket to an event.

Back on the dashboard, tickets are grouped into Active Single Tickets and Inactive Single Tickets. An Unlisted ticket lands in the inactive group, and that group is invisible to the event editor.

This happens in the event editor, not in the Sales section — the same steps whether you are creating a new event or editing an existing one.

  1. Open Schedule and tap Add for a new event, or open an existing event and tap Edit.
  2. Scroll down to the Pricing card — Set the price and payment options for this event.
  3. Tick Payed Event. (Leave it unticked for a free event.)
  4. Under Method, choose:
    • In-App-Payment — members pay in the app or on the web with card, through your Stripe account. This is the option that uses a single ticket.
    • Out of app payment (manual) — you only state a price (cash, transfer, whatever you arrange). No ticket, no product, no online payment; you record who paid yourself.
  5. With In-App-Payment selected, the club’s In Store single tickets appear under Pick a product. Tap the one you want — it gets a check mark and the list collapses to that single tile.
  6. The event now takes its price and currency from the ticket. There is no price field to fill in — that’s expected.
  7. Finish the rest of the event and tap Publish.

A ticket attached to an event. The list has collapsed to the chosen ticket — tap Show all products to swap it — and the preview shows the price members will see.

When a member opens the event, they see the price and — if they hold a qualifying licence or subscription — the discounted price. Payment goes through Stripe Checkout on your connected account, and they get a confirmation email with your club’s logo and the event details.

The amount actually charged is always read from the ticket, live, at the moment of payment, together with the discount conditions. That has two useful consequences:

  • A discount you add today applies to events you attached the ticket to weeks ago.
  • The event page can show a stale price if you edited the ticket after attaching it — see below.
What you changeEffect
Unit PriceApplies to every event already using this ticket, immediately. The price displayed on those events only refreshes when you re-open and save each event — so after a price change, re-save the upcoming events that use it.
Discount conditionsApply immediately, everywhere, including events created before the change.
Name / DescriptionShown on the next payment page. Events already attached stay attached.
In Store → UnlistedOnly removes it from the picker for new attachments. Events that already use it keep selling at that price. To stop selling, edit those events instead.
My ticket doesn’t show up when I try to attach it to an event

Almost always the availability switch: a new ticket is created as Unlisted, and the event editor only lists In Store tickets. Open the ticket in the Single Ticket Dashboard, flip the switch to In Store, and tap Save.

The event editor says “No products – create one below”

The club has no In Store single ticket yet, or the Stripe connection isn’t finished. Create the ticket first (part 1), then come back to the event.

The Special Discount Conditions dropdown is empty

It only offers licences and subscriptions that already exist in your club. Create the licence or subscription first, then add the condition to the ticket.

The price on the event doesn’t match the ticket

The event shows the price copied from the ticket when it was attached; the checkout charges the ticket’s current price. Re-open the event and save it to refresh what members see.

The Add New Ticket button is missing

Creating products needs an active Stripe connection and the Sales / Single Tickets edit permission. With view-only permission you can browse tickets but not create or change them.
