Indoor leagues & acta

What you’ll achieve: an overview of what happens between your club and the league — so your teams, their home hall, their roster and their scoresheet all line up.

Leagues are run in the Competition Manager — by a federation, an association or a club that organises its own league. Your club takes part with its teams; what follows is how the two sides meet.

Every league and tournament plays by a rulebook. Ten indoor rulebooks are ready to pick — among them FIVB, RFEVB, FCVB, DVV and FIPAV — each with its set format, points per set, tie-break and how a 3–0, 3–1 or 3–2 counts in the standings (for example 3-2-1-0). Indoor leagues play best of five sets by default.

Each team in a league can carry its home venue: the hall, its address, and its usual match day and time. When the organiser generates the fixtures with home venues, every match is placed in the home team’s hall at the home team’s usual time — a weekly home-and-away league without building a match day for every single fixture.

Leagues that play all matches of a round in one place (a concentration day) keep doing so: the venue of the match day still counts there.

Set your team’s home venue once in the team (see Seasons & teams), and it is offered whenever the team is entered in a league.

When your club enters a team in a league, you can take its roster straight from the club team: players with shirt numbers, liberos, captain and staff (coach, assistant, delegate, physio, doctor). Indoor rosters hold up to 14 players, 2 liberos and 5 staff.

The league’s fixtures then come back to your club: import them as team matches and the call-ups, availability and carpools run from there.

The organiser calls up the referees from the referee pool — 1st referee, 2nd referee, scorer and line judges — or lets the home club provide them. Referees accept in the app and find the match, its hall and its scoresheet on their phone.

→ Referees

The official indoor scoresheet runs on the referee’s or scorer’s phone: line-ups and rotations, liberos, substitutions, timeouts, sanctions and the signatures of captains, coaches and referees — and a PDF in the federation’s own form when the match closes.

  • The squad is pre-filled from the team’s roster — names, shirt numbers, licence numbers, captain, liberos and staff — so nobody retypes it at the scorer’s table.
  • When the acta is closed, the result goes into the standings straight away, and players, parents and followers of both teams get the final score as a push.
  • Closed actas are sealed and filed: the organiser and the federation find every one of them in their archive.
