Inside a match day

Who does thisFederation staff Who does thisHost club staff

What you’ll achieve: a published playing day — venue and courts set, every match with a court, a time and a referee — whose schedule has reached the players and referees.

Prerequisites: a playing day with matches on it (Create match days) and, for referees, a referee pool (Referees & digital scoresheet).

Open the day from Playing days (Open playing day) or from its column on the Matches board. Its header shows Jornada and the date, the Host club, and Back to playing days.

Tournament day. Twenty courts on one long beach… and every player asking the same thing: where's court fourteen?

Let's put your venue on the map.

In the Competition Manager, open Playing Sites, and add a new one: Sunset Beach Courts.

Search the address… and there's your beach, from above.

Add courts, up to eight at a time.

They land in a row: drag and rotate each one onto the sand.

Eight more, then four… twenty courts.

Add a first aid point and the toilets… and save.

Got a sponsor? Tap a court, upload their logo… and use it on all courts.

Save, and every player who looks up their court sees your sponsor.

That's a playing site, and tournaments and league days both use it.

In your tournament's Net Layout, load it… and all twenty courts are there.

Create the matches, run the assignment wizard, and every match gets a court and a time.

In a league, each playing day has a host club. Pick it, and its venues come first: Pavilion Mar Blau, two courts.

Save, auto-assign… done.

And your players?

In the app, the Nets tab shows every court on the map, with theirs lit up… and the wind on the beach, right now. Tap a court to see its whole day.

In a league, every fixture shows the time and the court.

Draw it once, use it all season. That easy!

These are the playing day’s own words — the league as a whole has its own status (Running, Play-offs, Closed). The buttons move a day forward: Publish playing day, Start playing day, Finish playing day. More actions goes back: Back to draft, Back to published (pause results), Reopen for results.

A jornada, from Draft to Finished.
  1. Click Attach a venue. Venues are the maps of your own club. Create one per pavilion and reuse it across playing days. The host club’s venues are listed first, then the organizer’s.
  2. Pick one, or create a New venue.

Until a venue is attached the day cannot be published (Add a venue to publish) and cannot take court assignments. Referees and results already work.

  1. Click Add courts. The map opens over the host club’s address: Find the hall, then add its courts — say how many courts the venue has; they are placed in a row, ready to drag and rotate onto the real pavilion.
  2. In Courts and times, drag each match into a slot (court × time).
  3. Or let Auto-assign courts place them, keeping the minutes per match and the rest time between a team’s matches.

From the menu you can print the Court schedule PDF and Actas (blank, one per match).

  1. In Referees of this playing day, Invite referee asks a referee from the league’s pool to confirm the day on their phone; Add directly puts them on the day as confirmed. Each shows Confirmed, Invited · awaiting answer or Not available.
  2. Click Assign referees. The sheet Referees · Jornada … lists every match; Auto-assign spreads the work and never puts a referee on two courts at the same time. Click Save referees.
  3. To set the full crew of one match, open its Match officials: The 1st referee leads the match and signs the scoresheet. 2nd referee, scorer and line judges are optional. Or name the playing team that takes its turn on the whistle (Team referees).

Click Publish playing day. If matches still have no court, no time or no referee, you are asked first — Keep planning or Publish anyway. Once published, the schedule is sent to players and referees.

Next: match day — referees and the digital scoresheet.

Troubleshooting
  • Publish playing day is greyed out. Attach a venue first.
  • “This venue has no courts yet.” Open Add courts and draw them on the map.
  • Auto-assign left matches unplaced. No free court or time keeps the rest time for both teams. Lengthen the day, add a court, or place them by hand.
  • “There are no active referees in the pool.” Invite one first on Officials.
  • Teams don’t see the day. It is still a Draft — publish it.
