Mixed: members included, drop-ins pay
What you’ll achieve: one training that your members attend as part of their subscription, while anyone else can still join by paying a ticket.
Club Manager price option: In-app payment + subscription with package
- Member — subscription grants creditsSpends 1 credit, pays nothing extra
- Drop-in playerPays the 11.50 € ticket
Prerequisites: a working Stripe connection, a single ticket, a training package and a subscription.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”Use the mixed model when members and drop-in players train together. With Included in the membership you can’t charge the drop-ins; with a ticket only you’d charge your members twice. The mixed model avoids both — and because every member spends a credit, you also see how often each one actually trains.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- The training is priced with a single ticket, like any paid session.
- Your subscription includes a training package. On the first payment and on every renewal, the member automatically gets a fresh package, valid for exactly the period that payment covered — an “every 4 weeks” subscription grants a package valid for four weeks.
- When a member signs up, they choose Training Packages and spend one credit. Nothing extra is charged.
- A drop-in player has no credits and pays the ticket by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Create the training package that members will receive — set its number of sessions to what the subscription should cover per period (for example 8 for twice a week over 4 weeks). Set it to Unlisted so it isn’t sold on its own in your store. See Training packages.
- Attach the package to the subscription: open the subscription product in Sales → Subscription and add the training package. See What you can attach to a subscription.
- Price the training: in the event editor, at How do participants pay?, choose In-app payment and pick the single ticket drop-ins should pay.
- Tap Publish.
A gentler variant: a member discount
Section titled “A gentler variant: a member discount”If you’d rather members pay something per session, skip the package and add a discount condition to the ticket instead: subscription holders are charged the discounted price, everyone else the full price. See Single tickets.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Credits are checked against the session date. A package granted for October doesn’t pay for a session on 3 November — that session is paid by the next renewal’s package.
- Direct debit takes a few days. When a member pays the subscription by SEPA Direct Debit, the period’s credits are granted once the debit clears (about 6 business days), not at sign-up. Card payments grant them right away.
- Changing the package’s number of sessions applies from the next renewal; packages already granted keep their count.
- Packages pay for trainings and friendly matches only, not tournaments, camps or community events.
- Cancelling a subscription doesn’t take back a package already granted; it simply runs out at the end of its period.
- One event carries one ticket. To charge groups differently, use discount conditions on that ticket, not a second event.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”A member was asked to pay the ticket
They have no credit valid on the session date. Check that the subscription is active and that the package is attached to it. A renewal that hasn’t been paid yet — or a direct debit that hasn’t cleared — hasn’t granted the next package.
Members ran out of credits before the period ended
The package grants too few sessions for how often they train. Raise Quantity of Sessions on the package; the next renewal grants the new amount.
